4 Ligitek LED Displays Applications You Should Know

Ligitek LED displays and lights have many applications ranging from water sterilization to mass transit lighting systems. Below you can find the common application areas and advantages of Ligitek LED lights.

UVC LED Sterilizer

The revolutionary UVC LED water sterilizer technology achieves the highest sterilization efficiency while eliminating the drawbacks of typical UV mercury lamps, which are damaging to the environment.

Available water filters primarily filter micro-lead, cyst, turbidity, and other pollutants. Combined with the Ligitek UVC LED water sterilizer and UVC high-energy ultraviolet, conventional water purifiers can damage small bacteria’s DNA structure and reproduction. The sterilizing energy is safe and steady, and it can meet international water purification standards. In addition, during sterilization, it will not produce any byproducts or chemical compounds.

The advantages of the Ligitek UVC LED water sterilizer includes direct sterilization, low-temperature operation and use, low energy consumption, quick lighting sterilization, no chemical exposure to water, long-term sterilization, and overheating protection.

Mass Transit and MRT Systems

All types of MRT, rails, tunnels, platforms, other signals, and intelligent lighting control mechanisms include hardware and system software, including lighting and dynamic indication signs to ensure the train’s safety and the individuals driving the vehicle.

Ligitek is an expert in mass transit and MRT system lighting. The mass transit and  MRT systems that Ligitek offers are segmented into the following product types:

  • LED Linear Lamps (Tubes)
  • LED-based Back Light Unit (BLU) Bars for LCD Display Screens
  • LED Signage/Destination Sign Board Modules
  • Other/Miscellaneous LED Lamps and Luminaries

Ligitek’s mass transit LED light applications include applications for traffic lighting, such as LED platform warning lights, MRT, trains, automobiles, tunnels, and highways.

Automobile, Motorcycle LED Module Applications

Considering that the widespread use of LED in automobiles and motorcycles is expected to be a significant future growth trend, Ligitek is the first to specialize in automotive LED module R&D, and its product design and R&D expertise are appreciated and recognized by consumers.

Ligitek’s LED module product applications include the following:

  • Motorcycle dashboard LED module application.
  • Joint development of bicycle front and rear LED lamps.
  •  Automotive LED lighting applications.

Imaging Lighting Infrared Module Products and ODM

The camera lens for picture capture illumination module creation is based on the needs of various sectors. The module products include:

  • Monitor infrared lighting module
  • LED or LASER illumination module for image recognition
  • Detection module for infrared signals

How LED Displays Work?

LED displays have become a massive part of our lives, from our home televisions to the traffic lights and electronic window displays that we see every day on the street. Yet, still, very few of us comprehend them fundamentally.

LED displays are made up of two parts: the display and the backlight that illuminates it, with a diffuser in between to keep the light level consistent throughout. The LCD does not emit any light; instead, it filters the backlight into various individual pixels and colors.

The backlight uses electronic impulses to adjust the transparency of each pixel. Thus, when the screen shows a black image, it will attempt to block the light, while displaying a white image will let more light in.

Many closely-spaced LEDs make up an LED display. The diodes affect the image on display by adjusting the brightness of each LED.

To create an eye-catching color image, the principles of RGB color mixing, in which new colours are produced by mixing light in diverse colors, are used to achieve the proper color combination. A red, green, and blue LED display is composed of LEDs organized in a specified pattern.

These three colors make up a pixel. By adjusting the intensity of the LEDs, billions of colors can be generated. The LED screen’s matrix of colorful pixels looks like a picture when viewed from a certain distance.

How are LEDs Installed?

Handling LEDs is very easy and can be performed without professional help. Below you can find steps to follow for the installation of LEDs.

Handling and Unpacking

When it comes to LED display installation, different municipal and non-municipal licenses are required, depending on the location, such as the street, roof, building façade, or even in a common or private area. It also necessitates advanced mechanical, electronic, and electrical engineering skills and extensive industry experience. Different installing and constructing of self-supporting screens, which simply plug into an outlet once placed in the desired location.

LED Display Positioning and Installation

To begin mounting the screen, arrange the modules adjacent to each other. The upper and lateral components of the cabinets contain anchoring mechanisms that allow for horizontal and vertical interconnections.

Wiring

The data cabling process must be done in a zigzag pattern between the cabinets, always beginning at the bottom left. The data in and data out ports are then linked to the modules.

The Lifespan of LED Lights

Various manufacturers claim LED lighting has a life span of 20,000 to 50,000 hours. This would take about 17 years at 8 hours. This is about 30 times the life of incandescent bulbs and five times the life of compact fluorescent bulbs. This is more of a guess based on rapid wear testing, which isn’t perfect.
